2.3 mile track with 16 turns. The 740 acre site is set within a perfectly manicured landscape with heavily wooded surroundings.
- Bring lawn chairs, blankets and coolers to enjoy casual hillside seating or sit in grandstands, first-come first-served.
- Children 12 & under are free with one paying adult.
- Track is 12 miles from Birmingham International Airport.
- Trams are available to get you around the park.
- Spectator friendly viewing - see at least 75% of the
course at one time from most areas.
- Spectator camping allowed during major events
only. Camping pass must be purchased in addition to 3 day
admission tickets for each camper over the age of 12 (see event online order page
for prices & info). Restroom and shower facilities. No water or electrical hookups.
- The Barber Motorsports Park has it's own dedicated FM radio frequency - 106.3FM. Bring your radio or buy one here and tune into all the racing action.

Public Will Call is at the Birmingham Race Course (see address and directions below). Public Will Call is for all vehicles that do not have a parking pass or camping pass. Public Will Call windows will be open Friday and Saturday 7:30am - 5pm and Sunday 7:30am - 3pm and is located in the Ticket Sales trailer in the Birmingham Race Course parking lot..
VIP Will Call
VIP Will Call is near ther Park entrance (follow signs). VIP Will Call is for any vehicle that has a parking pass or a camping pass. VIP Will Call is open Thursday 3pm-8pm, Friday and Saturday 7:30am-7pm and Sunday 7:30am-3pm.

Due the size of this event, on-site parking will be limited to those vehicles with a parking pass or camping pass (see Permit Parking below). Spectator parking is free and is located minutes away at the Birmingham Race Course, 1000 John Rodgers Drive, Birmingham, AL 35210 (directions below). Buses run continously from 7:30am until one hour after the last race each day, Friday-Sunday. There will be ADA parking at the Birmingham Race Course. ADA equipped buses will be available throughout the day.

From the North:
- Take I-65 South toward Birmingham
- Take exit 261A on the left to merge onto I-20 East/I-59 North toward Atlanta/Gadsden for 8.6 miles
- Continue to follow I-59 North
- Take exit 137 to merge onto I-459 South toward Atlanta/Montgomery for 2 miles
- Take exit 31 for Derby Parkway
- Keep right at the fork and follow signs for the Birmingham Race Course
From the South:
- Take I-65 North toward Birmingham
- Take exit 250 for I-459 toward Atlanta/Gadsden/Tuscaloosa
- Keep right at the fork to continue toward I-459 North and merge onto I-459 North for 15 ½ miles
- Take exit 31 for Derby Parkway
- Keep left at the fork and follow signs for the Birmingham Race Course
From the East:
- Take I-20 East/I-59 North toward Birmingham
- Take exit 106 to merge onto I-459 North toward Atlanta/Montgomery for 31 miles
- Take exit 31 for Derby Parkway
- Keep left at the fork and follow signs for the Birmingham Race Course
From the West:
- Take I-20 West toward Birmingham
- Take exit 136 to merge onto I-459 North toward Gadsden for 2 miles
- Take exit 31 for Derby Parkway
- Keep left at the fork and follow signs for the Birmingham Race Course
Permit Parking:

From Huntsville (North):
- Take 1-65 South to I-20/59 (Exit 251A)
- Take I-20 East towards Atlanta for 16 miles.
- Take I-20 exit #140 (Leeds).
- Merge right onto Bankhead Highway/US 78 east towards Leeds for 2/10th's of a mile.
- Turn right before Chevron station onto Rex Lake Road.
- Take Rex Lake Rd for 7/10th's of mile (past Bass Pro Shops) and follow signs to your Lot. Turn right onto Barber Motoraports Parkway for Parking Lots A-G and Hilltop camping.
From Chattanooga (Northeast):
- Take I-59 South to I459 South.
- Take I-459 South to I20 East exit.
- Take I-20 east towards Atlanta for 4 miles.
- Follow directions 3-6 above.
From Montgomery (South):
- Take I-65 North. to I-459 North towards Atlanta.
- Take I-20 East towards Atlanta for 4 miles.
- Take I-20 exit #140 (Leeds).
- Follow directions 4-6 above.
From Tuscaloosa (West):
- Take 1-20/59 East towards Birmingham.
- Take I-20 exit #140 (Leeds).
- Follow directions 4-6 above.
From Atlanta (East):
- Take 1-20 West towards Birmingham.
- Take I-20 exit #140.
- Turn left at end of exit ramp onto Bankhead Highway/US 78 east towards Leeds for 1/2 mile.
- Follow directions 5-6 above.
Spectator RulesBack to top
- Cameras, Lawn chairs and Blankets are welcome!
- Coolers are allowed but are subject to search by Park security. No glass containers.
- Please do not leave items overnight.
- No skateboards, scooters, roller blades or skates.
- No pets on facility grounds, except those kept in motorhomes or campers. Animals required to assist handicapped individuals are allowed throughout the park.
- Ride the tram. Trams are provided so you can move easily (and freely - it's free) around the park. Trams stop at parking lots, the three main viewing areas,
concession stands, and the paddock.
- All personal vehicles must be street legal, licensed and operated by licensed driver. Spectators are not permitted use of 4 wheelers, dirt bikes or unlicensed motorbikes
of any type. Bicycles are permitted in the spectator areas only, they are not allowed in the paddock. Minors are prohibited from operating bicycles.
- Fireworks and Firearms are strictly prohibited.
- No banners or printed material may be hung or placed on any of the Park's facilities or structures without prior written consent by the Park.
- Spectators are not allowed to rope off any areas, and scaffolding is prohibited.
- The Park has a no tolerance policy. Persons breaking this rule or associated laws are subject to immediate expulsion and law enforcement.
- No Fence Jumping!
Barber Motorsports Park is a Family Friendly Facility-
No unlawful activities will be tolerated. The Park may expel or bar any
individual for violation of any rule as determined by Park's sole reasonable
discretion.
Camping rules:
- All campers must register before entering campground. Hilltop camping passes are numbered 1-41. The other campsites are assigned on a first come first serve basis. Guests are not
allowed to "hold" or "save" adjoining sites.
- For any event where spectator camping is permitted, prices and camping options will be listed on the event online ticket order page. For other events,
camping allowed for participants only (sign up at the track during registration).
- Campsites and Motorhome parking is on grass lots. Camping only in designated areas.
- The maximum occupancy per camping pass is 8 persons, 1 licensed four wheeled vehicle, 2 motorcycles and one camping unit. No off-road vehicles, no 4
wheelers, no unlicensed motorcycles.
- All campers ages 13 & above must purchase a 3 day admission ticket to be admitted to campgrounds.
- Quiet hours will be enforced from 8pm until 8am.
- All campers must vacate Sunday no later than one hour after last checkered flag.
- No campfires or ground fires are allowed. Grills only.
- No electrical or water hookups are available at this time.
- There will be a vendor on site to handle potable and gray water service. There is an additional charge for this service. Vendor phone # will be included in your ticket package.
- Generators must have an exhaust stack that extends above the RV. Generators louder than 80 decibels must use a sound baffle.
- Showers are available in the Paddock to campers who have
not purchased Paddock Access. Times are as follows:
Fri.-Sun. 6am-7am and Fri.-Sat. 7pm-9pm. Shower and restroom building also available in Lot E.
Paddock Rules
Paddock access is available to anyone over the age of 18 who has signed a waiver and received
proper credentials. Minors (18 and under) must be accompanied at all times by a parent
or legal guardian who must sign the waiver on their behalf. Motorsports is dangerous. The
paddock area can be dangerous. The paddock serves as an outside workstation or garage for all race
teams. Cars will be moving through the paddock area to get to and from the
hot pit area. Everyone must be cautious and aware of their surroundings. Pay attention to the paddock marshals.
Vehicles always have the right of way.
No alcohol in paddock.
No smoking around team areas or fueling areas.
No glass containers.
Be cautious! Be aware at all times.
Minors (ages 18 and under) must be accompanied by Parent at all times while in the paddock.
Teams are working. Please respect their space.
No pets.
No bikes, roller blades, scooters, skateboards or skates etc.
No unauthorized vehicles.
Credentials must be visible at all times.
Be prepared to show ID.
Paddock credentials are not transferable. Do not give to anyone else.
Hearing protection is advised in the paddock.
